BIAnalytix Tip Summary: Notification Analysis

Notification Analysis is the process of notifying a user or users about an exception that they need to be aware of. It can be made available to a user while they interact with the data to discover information (Pull Analysis) as well as when it is proactively delivered to the user with e-mail and similar technologies (Push Analysis). If a user has a well defined right to a slice of data , then notification analysis can utilize Push Analysis to report business exceptions by directly informing the appropriate user of a new exception by e-mail, dashboard alerts etc.

Business Process Management (BPM) goes a step further. It addresses the defined process to be used within an organization to address or rectify various business situations and exceptions. By activating BPM workflows and Notification Analysis from exception analysis detection, the appropriate users are presented not only with the exception information but with the process steps defined to address the situation.

BIAnalytix is a data warehouse and business intelligence system from Decentrix which includes Media Notification Analysis for both Pull and Push Analysis triggered by common media business exceptions, problems or anomalies.
